Postdocs
We are looking for postdoc candidates with a strong background in at least three of the following:
♦ cognitive neuroscience (esp. memory, attention, and/or visual cognition)
♦ fMRI / real-time fMRI
♦ computational analysis / modeling (incl. classical machine learning)
♦ neural network design / applications
Our lab is currently not actively recruiting postdocs.

Ph.D. Students
We are looking for Ph.D. candidates with research experience in at least two of the following:

Our lab will be recruiting 1 Ph.D. student for a start date of Fall 2026. Interested candidates are invited to apply either to the Brain and Cognitive Sciences Ph.D. program, or to the Neuroscience Ph.D. program at the University of Rochester. Application deadlines for both programs will be in early December 2025. More information will be posted here in Fall 2025.

Undergraduates
We welcome inquiries from interested undergraduates at the University of Rochester with a background in cognitive psychology, cognitive neuroscience, computer science, data science, and/or cognitive science. Applicants must be proficient in Matlab or Python and they should have cognitive science experience equivalent to BCSC 153 / PSYC 153 (Cognition) or computational experience equivalent to CSC 246 / DSCC 246 (Machine Learning).
